Thank you for your interest in joining the Humble Hounds Team! We are a growing pet care business serving Bristol, CT and the surrounding towns, and we take pride in providing our clients with pet care they can count on.

We are looking for responsible, compassionate and trustworthy individuals to join our team. We care for a range of different pets, each with their very own individual needs.

We are looking for long-term help. The position is an at-will, part-time position, with competative pay. We are looking for team members who can work mid-days Monday through Friday, with each teammate having their own daily routes. There may be opportunities to cover morning, evening and weekend appointments as well.

Experience working with animals is preferred but not required, please read through the following requirements:

Must be 18 or older
Possess a valid CT license and your own registered and insured vehicle for use
Own a smartphone
Possess great communications skills
Pass drug test, background check and have a clean driving record
Must be comfortable walking dogs of all sizes and breeds
Must always enter client’s homes with care and respect, including securing locks and alarms upon departure
Clean pet messes including feces, urine, vomit and any items chewed or otherwise affected by pets in our care
Be prepared to work in all conditions and weather
Complete pet CPR and First aid course
Be eligible to be bonded by insurance (no felonies)
Take pride in representing Humble Hounds LLC as well as being represented by Humble Hounds LLC

I CANNOT say enough about Niki from Humble Hounds! She’s kept my foster dog twice within the past two months (once for two weeks after his neuter because we’d had a vaca planned before we got him), and she took phenomenal care of him. She checked his incision constantly, gave him a ton of snuggles and sent me updates, pics and videos daily… she’s just an overall fantastic person. Our foster pooch loves her and she follows requests to a “T”. She also makes time on her busiest days to come and exercise him whenever we need her, which has been an amazing help when things pop up, like work requiring we stay later than usual. We’ve been so fortunate to find her, and strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a stable, reliable, responsible, kind and loving dog walker/dog sitter!

Niki, was beyond exceptional when she took care of our pups. Our two dogs loved her at first sight and we’re happy when she came to visit daily for the past five days.
