Below are answer to some of your commonly asked questions.

Q: How do I get started?

The first step to join the fun with Humble Hounds LLC is to contact us via our contact form. Be sure to share a small amount of information about your needs and we can set up a meet and greet at the earliest convenience. The meet and greet is usually 20-30 minutes long at the clients home; we will discuss needs, temperament, feeding and medication details.

Q: What towns do you cover?

Humble Hounds LLC serves Bristol, CT and surrounding towns, including Wolcott, Southington, Terryville, Plymouth, Plainville, Burlington and more!

Q: How do I make payments?

Humble Hounds LLC uses Time To Pet to securely collect payments. An invoice will be sent to your email with a secure link to payments. All payments are due before services with weekly invoices due on the Sunday before services.

Q: Will my dog be crated when they board at Humble Hounds LLC?

We do not crate any dogs that are not crate trained. If your dog is happy and comfortable in their crate please be sure to let us know. Each dog that stays with us gets their own personal room with beds, blankets, their own food and water dishes and some toys.

Q: How long are walks or drop in visits?

We ensure every visit or walk is allotted 30 full minutes of time with our staff unless otherwise instructed. We promise to spend 30 minutes door to door, meaning we will be in your home with your pet for 30 whole minutes, this time includes time getting your dog ready for a walk.

Q: What if I'm traveling but don’t want to board my dog?

If you wish to keep your dog in their own home we offer packages that include 3 drop in visits per day for feeding, potty, play and exercise. Additional visits or walks can be added for a fee. See the services tab for more details.

I CANNOT say enough about Niki from Humble Hounds! She’s kept my foster dog twice within the past two months (once for two weeks after his neuter because we’d had a vaca planned before we got him), and she took phenomenal care of him. She checked his incision constantly, gave him a ton of snuggles and sent me updates, pics and videos daily… she’s just an overall fantastic person. Our foster pooch loves her and she follows requests to a “T”. She also makes time on her busiest days to come and exercise him whenever we need her, which has been an amazing help when things pop up, like work requiring we stay later than usual. We’ve been so fortunate to find her, and strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a stable, reliable, responsible, kind and loving dog walker/dog sitter!

Niki is great! My dog is very particular about who comes in the house but he is very comfortable with her. She’s helped me out so much. Highly recommend!
