Meet the Crew

Niki
My love of animals started at a young age when we spent summers in Virginia where we would catch fireflies in the meadows and crawfish in the creeks. We were always gentle with them and released them safely. Life has come a long way since then and I have met so many wonderful animals!
When I have spare time I volunteer for Northern Bound Rescue here in CT and walk the dogs and sometimes even get to take them out on excursions! It has been so rewarding and I hope someday I can start my very own nonprofit to help local pets in need. I am an animal advocate and I believe the way someone treats animals shows you who that person truly is.
I will most likely be the one to show up to serve your pets but I do have some trustworthy and caring people who lend a hand when needed.

Madi
I have always had a love for animals, I grew up in a house surrounded by fury friends. I now am old enough to have my own, and enjoy the love they bring. As I have gotten older, I have learned the many responsibilities of being a dog mom. I enjoy doing training with my dogs as much as possible, and going on fun adventures with them. I worked in a kennel for 2 years, and from there I have learned animal behavior and how to create a positive and safe atmosphere for myself and the animals being cared for. I can proudly say, with every animal I encounter, I love them like my own and intend to have a fun and loving time creating a strong bond with them. When I’m not with my four legged children, I enjoy traveling and being around family and friends.

Adrianna
Hello all! My name is Adrianna. When I was a kid, all I knew was that I wanted to work with animals when I grew up. I started at a dog daycare and boarding facility and loved each and every dog that walked onto that playroom floor. I learned many valuable skills such as dog behavior and pack management. While I loved working there and having relationships with so many pups, I needed a change in my work schedule. I ended up an administrative assistant and love the flexibility that it allows me. However, I deeply missed working with dogs and happily found Humble Hounds. I love forming relationships with animals, getting to know one another without words is such a gratifying experience.
When I am not at either of my jobs I am happy at home with my children (human children and furry children!). I am a dedicated runner, reader and coffee drinker. I enjoy spending my time outdoors and with friends.

Rebecca
Hello, my name’s Rebecca! From the beginning, my life's been entangled with animals. Growing up, I spent a lot of time working with my mother as her tech assistant at the hospital. From there, the connections grew. Volunteering with wildlife rescues, trainers, dog sitting, rehab, you name it, I got involved. When I'm not with your pups I'll be hiking with my own and working with rehab / rehoming abused and abandoned dogs. The bond between yourself and your furry pal is a serious connection, and I look forward to walking with your fluffy friend, too!

Natalie
I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was the kid who would stop to pet every dog on the street and spend hours watching animal documentaries instead of cartoons. But what really captivated me was the mind behind those wagging tails—the dog brain. The way dogs think, feel, and communicate has always fascinated me. Over the years, my curiosity has only deepened, driving me to learn everything I can about canine behavior, cognition, and the unique bond between humans and dogs. Whether I'm volunteering at shelters, reading the latest research, or just spending time with my own furry companions, animals—especially dogs—have always been at the heart of who I am.

Amber
My name is Amber. I've always had a passion for working with animals starting from a young age. At 18, I worked at a dog daycare and boarding and that's where I found that I wanted to make a career out of working with animals. I am currently working toward being a certified Veterinary Technician, and currently work at an Animal ER where I get to handle not only dogs and cats, but many exotics, even some you don't see everyday!
In my free time I enjoy going out into nature, whether it's alone or with a furry friend! I also love to collect things like moths and crystals.
I enjoy working on training animals and learning more about animal behavior, as I find every animal you come across will have a vastly different personality than the other, and I find that it's important to be able to understand each animal to give them the best care possible.

Kareena
Hi my name is Kareena! Working with furry friends is the most rewarding job! The dedication, and genuine love for our four-legged friends extends to every interaction with me. I have a deep understanding of animal care and I share a commitment to their well-being. I strive to create a positive and enriching experience for both animals and their owners. Whether it's providing care, practicing commands, or simply showering them with affection, my goal is to foster strong bonds and happy tails wherever I go.
